Nothing is wrong with Islam.
What's wrong is the west's inability to distinguish between true Islam and the snakes that hide inside it.

because it has no central authority. a network of corrupt imams can create a self-supporting interpretation of the koran and there is no one with the authority to refute them. It is the perfect vehicle for a network of organized criminals and meglomaniacs to sieze power. In the west it has protection under freedom of religion and in the mideast it has the taboo against questioning the authority of Allah.

I personally believe what's wrong with Islam is that the honest average citizens of Islam do not stand up to the snakes that hide inside of it.
Any country based solely on religion is the perfect breeding ground for corruption and greed - and just as in any criminal enterprise, it's always the ruthless, evil ones who end up in power as they force their hand on their citizens.
Religion is truly the work of Satan, in my opinion anyway.
